Welcome to Super Dad and Super Author Jason Zandri!

Please join me in welcoming the very talented Jason Zandri to my site. As he embarks on his blog tour, I am honored to have him stop by for a visit.

JASON ZANDRI introduces the characters from “Another Sunset”

David Stephenson: David is an empathetic drifter. He arrives in Westville with Peter, a regional trucker be befriended. David is introduced to the locals and asks around regarding work and lodging. He gets to know people quickly and gains their trust. The townsfolk learn a little about the traveler. David cautiously opens himself up to a few that become close to him, in an effort to shield them, and himself, from his own past.

Maria Moreno: Maria is a single mother to eight year old Caroline. She works in a small convenience store on the main road through town. She lives in the attached home which houses her apartment on the second floor. She is protective of herself and her precocious daughter, hoping to keep her well-grounded and constantly protected from life’s disappointments. While the majority of the townspeople are generally trustworthy of anyone new and giving them the benefit of the doubt, she has concerns about David Stephenson.

Caroline Moreno: Caroline is Maria’s eight year old daughter. She is ahead of her years in compassion and understanding. She communicates well and is well read. She has a simplistic way of looking at her world which consists of school, her friends there, and her home in Westville. Her father has been out of the picture since she was born and has totally relied on her mother to support her in the roles of both parents. She has long reaching goals and chases after them, without being held back by the obstacles of adults.

Charlotte Cassidy: Charlotte is the owner of Charlotte’s Place and works there with Maria to tend to the store itself and the customers that call it their second home. She is a lifelong resident of Westville and remembers when the town was much more thriving than it is today. She carries on, long after the passing of her husband, living her days in the dream that they had both sought after together. When Caroline’s father left, Charlotte did what she could to help out almost in a grandmother capacity to their small family.

Melvin “Mel” “Doc” Porter: Doc Porter is a widower and the town’s retired doctor. He is one of the regulars at Charlotte’s Place and at times almost a patriarch of the town to many of the long time citizens since the seat of power moved from the town center to the county seat. While many citizens go up to county to get critical care, they take all of their smaller issues back to Doc to tend to. Despite being retired, he is still always available to the people he calls family.

The local would-be reporter, tasked by David’s longtime friend, takes off on a mission to unravel the mystery of his travels, where he came from, and discovers why he is on his journey.

Another Sunset Reviews - http://amzn.to/1RHrdES

“The author has a nice way of weaving together a touching story that definitely tugged at those heartstrings” http://www.amazon.com/review/RE23H0HC4YBXY/

“Endearing characters, well-paced dialogue, and valuable lessons...all the components of fantastic book” http://www.amazon.com/review/R3KETK9GVPLVIV

“Instead of the fast pace of stories that tell too much, too soon, Another Sunset moved its pace along with detail that helped really form its characters. It gave plenty of time to delve into the story and not be able to fully discern where the story was going (which I like - I don't like to be able to script out what's going to happen! Surprise me!)” http://www.amazon.com/review/R3DJBKJG5DVFM1/
